Beginning

AMID Frontline was established in obedience to Jesus’ command to preach the Gospel “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1.8). Jesus made it clear at the beginning of his ministry that his priority was to share his message in places where it had not yet been proclaimed (Mark 1:38). The apostle Paul understood this order perfectly and stated that he strived to take the Gospel where “Christ was not yet known” (Romans 15:20). Unfortunately, more than 95% of all missionary resources, both the sending of workers and the offerings, are directed to places already considered to be reached. AMID Frontline wishes to contribute to changing this reality.

Unreached People Groups Around the World

Currently, the world is divided into 195 countries. Many of these nations possess internal subdivisions referred to as peoples. According to missionary organizations engaged in research, there are more than 17,000 peoples, and approximately 43% of them remain unreached by the Gospel (UPG). Unreached peoples are those homogeneous units—whether geographic, ethnic, socioeconomic, or otherwise—that have not received sufficient information regarding the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, within their own culture and linguistic framework, to render Christianity a meaningful alternative to their current religious or value system; or that have not responded to the Gospel message—whether due to a lack of opportunity or a rejection of the message—to such an extent that there exists no appreciable (recognized) body of believers effectively communicating the message within the unit itself. How to Engage

You can join our team in several ways—whether by applying to serve on a specific mission field (as a worker) or by enabling the sending of others (as a partner). Remember that “some plant and others water... but we are all co-workers with God,” and in the end, “each one will receive their own reward” (1 Corinthians 3:6, 8, and 9). Listed below are the opportunities that are always available:

• MISSIONARIES – Those who have a calling to serve in a specific mission field;
• INTERCESSORS – Individuals committed to praying for the work of missions;
• FINANCIAL PARTNERS – Those who wish to invest financial resources in the Father’s projects;
• MOBILIZERS – For this team, we seek multipliers—that is, advocates who can recruit others to help promote AMID’s projects.
